Sunnyhill Farm is a small family farm located on Stark's Road north of the Ganges between St. Mary's Lake and Walker's Hook.
As you drive up the pebbled driveway & pass through the gates to Sunnyhill Farm, you will gaze left and see the "oh so cute" Barn. As you proceed up the driveway you will see the "COTTAGE" sign that will direct you 'just' up the way to your destination.
The Guest Cottage at Sunnyhill Farm will bring a smile to your face as it sits sweetly tucked into the side of a forested hill & overlooks a grassy field. The Cottage offers 2 decks. The uncovered deck has rattan chairs for sitting comfortably enjoying the sun and looking at the field below. The covered deck offers both a BBQ as well as more comfy seating gazing into the forest.
The Guest Cottage is most ideally suited to an individual or couple. The Cottage has one bedroom with a king-sized bed. There is a full four-piece bathroom, a complete kitchen (with a microwave & dishwasher in addition to the standard stuff) together with a dining area, and a living room with two comfortable couches (great for napping). A propane franklin adds charm to the decor and cable TV and WIFI keep you connected to the world.
Come see for yourself (but don't tell anyone… we are trying to keep it a secret).
Details & Dollars
The Kitchen - The Cottage Kitchen has the basics for your enjoyment, coffee and tea (fresh milk and butter and eggs provided daily). The pantry has soup and pasta, lentils and rice together with an array of seasonings, tobasco, worchestshire, soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil and a lovely balsamic! Remember too, there is a BBQ on the deck (electric for the greatest of ease). (But remember, the island has some wonderful restaurants --- WHY EAT IN when you can eat out???)
The Rates - The Cottage rents for $185.00 per night. If a guest stays for more than two nights there is a $10.00 discount. Rates for longer stays will attract further discounts. Payment by way of cash or cheque would be preferred.
Access - The property is most easily accessed by car. (Note… no scary driveways or awkward parking situations to worry about)
